Human Development Index and Gender Development Index of Tanjungpinang Municipality 2021

Human Development Index and Gender Development Index of Tanjungpinang Municipality 2021 is one of Tanjungpinang Municipality Statistics-BPS in fulfilling the wishes of data consumers. The publication presents Human Development Index (HDI) and Gender Development Index (GDI) of Tanjungpinang Municipalityfrom three dimensions, namely: longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and decent living standards.HDI is used as the basis for evaluating successful implementation of human resource development, especially those related to health, education, and economic conditions in terms of purchasing power of the population. GDI is used as an evaluation material to see the equitable distribution of gender development.This publication contains an explanation of several aspects related to HDI, GDIand calculation result of HDI, IPG of Tanjungpinang Municipalityand its components, as well as its comparison with other regencies/cities in Kepulauan Riau.
