Abstract

Percentage of poor people in Tanjungpinang Municipality in 2022 reached 9.85 percent. In general, in 2014-2019 period, percentage of poor people in Tanjungpinang Municipality tends to decline, with a decline that tends to slow down. However, starting in 2020, percentage of poor people continues to increase, in 2020 rising to 9.37 percent, 9.57 percent in 2021, and rising again in 2022 to 9.85 percent. Increase in number and percentage of poor people in 2020, 2021 and 2022 was caused by the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia.
