Tanjungpinang Municipality Running Influencer Supports 2026 Economic Census

Tanjungpinang, June 17, 2026 — Support for making 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) a success continues to flow from various segments of society. This time, support comes from Ari Oktafio, a running influencer from Tanjungpinang Municipality who actively inspires public to adopt a healthy lifestyle. He officially invited business actors to actively participate in data collection event organized by BPS-Statistics Tanjungpinang Municipality.

In his appeal video, Ari highlighted that every sports activity has a real economic turnover. He gave an example that every running step has economic value, starting from equipment such as shoes worn, smartwatches, to utilization of photography services like FOTOYU. All these types of businesses will be part of data collected in implementation of SE2026.

"What is it for? So government knows how big our sports economic potential is. Let's welcome census officers, for a more advanced Tanjungpinang!" urged Ari Oktafio.

According to Ari, provision of accurate data has an important role in supporting progress of various economic sectors, including continuously developing sports ecosystem. Through 2026 Economic Census, it is expected that government can obtain a more complete overview regarding business potential and economic activities in community. This high-quality data will later be used as a foundation in formulating more targeted development planning and policies.
